The beauty of having small children is that they force you to stop and look at the world around you.
Things and places that seem mundane and obvious to you can be all new to them. And seen through their eyes, even a simple thing like the walk to and from nursery is full of wonder.
Had it not been for my daughter, who wanted to stop and examine a flower this morning, I probably would have walked straight past this plant (see above).
The photo is a little blurred - it was a quick snap using the camera on my mobile - but I couldn't resist the dew drops on this plant - they look just like gems.
