I am a great believer that beauty can be found anywhere and everywhere, you just have to look out for it.
Sometimes it comes in the form of an object, other times it is a feeling. It can last a lifetime or just a fleeting moment.
Today, as I was washing down the sink, in the corner of my eye I caught sight of what looked like a smattering of sparkling diamonds scattered on the door next to where I was standing.
Of course, it wasn't real diamonds. (Imagine if I had the money to adorn the doors of my house with them! Some of my friends probably wouldn't put that past me if I did...). It was the sun shining on the crystals on my shoes casting reflections on the door's surface. When I moved, the 'diamonds' moved with me. And as soon as I walked out of reach of the sun's rays, the sparkle was gone.
So what does that teach us? Wear crystal-encrusted shoes and walk in the sun, of course!
