The good news is that the easiest way to keep silver jewellery clean is to keep wearing it.

When not worn, storing silver pieces in a jewellery box will slow down the oxidisation process.

The chemical compounds in hot springs and chlorinated swimming pools cause silver to tarnish quickly, so it's a good idea to take off your jewellery before venturing into the water.

If your silver jewellery starts looking tarnished, a quick polish with the microfibre cloth included with your order will get it sparkling again.

Specialist cleaning baths and polishing pastes - available in most supermarkets - are very effective if an item becomes very oxidised.
